Jaroslv Brychta was a professor at the Secondary School of Glass Studies in Zelezny Brod, which was founded in 1925. He designed a method of making Hutnicky Tvarovane Sklo glass figurines. 'The students learned this method and then made these figurines in various glass companies in the area. These figurines are made in series of Shakespeare & Dickens characters, musicians, doctors, clowns, folk heros, drunks, and professions.
